A Very illuminating test:

Attila recognized my voice coming from VC7 loudspeakers. But dogs are able to recognize only authentic sounds! They decide ‘yes’ or ‘no’ – never ‘maybe’. This ability was important for them in the past in order to recognize enemies and is part of their thinking-patterns until today. Also we humans are trained to think in the same way - as we were also often unprotected against enemies in those early times. So whenever you are in doubt whether a sound pattern is sounding ‘original’ (‘natural’), in most cases the representation of the sound stage will be wrong!
